Do I produce the prints of my originals myself. No, you can be assured that this I leave this to a local professional print & art framing company. Prints are produced on high quality fine art paper. Any item that is referred to as a print will be of an original piece of my artwork. If the print notes “Limited Edition Print” this means a limited number of prints will have been done and your print will have noted on the back what number it is of the run. EG: 1 of 10, 2 of 10 etc.

Is there a wait time on requests for prints? Yes. If you request a print of a specific original piece & I am happy to have a print done, then there is usually a 3 week wait for prints to be produced, then there is the usual shipping times on top of that. Unfortunately the wait time at the moment can be even longer due to Covid caused staffing & production delays. If a print item in the shop says it is in stock then I have done a limited run on this item & it will be able to be posted after purchase.

Framing. As noted on each original & print piece in the shop items are NOT framed and DO NOT have mat board surrounds. Why? 2 reasons. 1stly the cost to post (& insure) a framed piece is significant. Even if it just has a mat board surround it adds to postage costs substantially. 2ndy, framing is such a personal thing & for most, you would be wanting to ensure that your frame not just enhances your chosen piece but where you will be placing it on display.

Original Artwork

When I refer to a piece in the shop as an “Original” I mean that : 1stly it is not a print. 2ndly no-one other than myself has worked on the piece. I dont have painting elves that come into my studio at night & finish a piece off for me! Hmmmmmm…wouldnt that be fun! :) 3rdly the piece reflects my own style & is my own composition. I don’t however claim to have invented, imagined or been the first to paint flowers, trees, christmas baubles, fish, landscapes, bouquets in the shape of ice creams etc etc. You get my drift.
